    Gas tank

I’ve noticed that the new Ranger RT188P has the gas tank under the driver/passenger seats. Seems like a great idea since it makes more room in the battery compartment and helps with weight distribution. I would be nice if other companies did the same, Especially Xpress and Tracker boats. What y’all think?

Many boat manufactures have their gas tank mid ship

Well for you boat gurus that live in your parents garage. ... Maybe I should’ve been more specific on my post?? I’m talking about aluminum boats!! Gatortrax is the only “Alum” boat maker (That I know of) that has the gas tank “Mid way.” Maybe I shouldn’t have said “Great idea.”

The heat have you all riled up? I like the idea, as most the weight for me is currently behind the seats.

I like the gas tank in the back. Helps my X7 lift the hull farther back.

We catch some good bass in KY/Tn. If I remember correctly that BASS classic in Pennsylvania was a 3 day dinkfest, We've caught more in a minnow trap that what came across those scales
