    Spinning rod for Senkos

Looking for a spinning rod (around 7’) primarily to skip wacky and TR Senkos around docks, and may see some grass. Considering a DX 703 sf, but open to suggestions. Any recommendations?

The Megabass XX Ronin is an excellent senko skipping rod. It is a little shorter at 6'8" and has a little more power, a strong medium, for bigger fish or around some of the grass you mentioned.

The Daiwa Kage 7' Medium "All Around" is another good option at a nice price point. Those Kage rods aren't well known, but they are very popular with guys who are using them now.

That 7' M Legend Elite, X, or Xtreme are all excellent high end options as mentioned... all have the same blank, action, and power, the choice is about aesthetics and grips if you go that route.

Under $200 I like Fenwick Elite Tech, $200 Ranger hard to beat a St Croix Avid X, over $200 I’d pick a St Croix Legend Tournament 7’1” plastics rod

Hands down... ALX Rods ZOLO Maestro. It's an incredible rod for skipping senkos. Has a lighter tip and plenty of backbone to pull fish out from docks or around trees.

We are out of stock right now, but I believe Tackle Warehouse and Tackle Trap have them in stock.

I've been an Alpha Angler fan boy, and I love the Wrench for that. Just like AA, every company has a 7 foot med fast spinning rod that they can offer you.

This is one is perfect for me. 7’ and it’s a medium-medium/hvy. Just the right balance of tip and backbone.

I have a bunch of 7' M spinning rods.. I'm kind of an addict. I've tried a lot from high end to mid range from various brands. The stand out to me is the Expride 7' M spinning. For the price point it's incredible.

The Loomis 852s/853s is king of the hill.. but the Expride is as good and costs less.
