Any one have any pics or recommendations on mounting an onix 10 on the console of a cobra 201?

Is it much bigger than a helix 10?

I wouldn’t think so. I’ve been scouring the internet for a couple days trying to get an idea on how to mount this thing. It’s definitely going to need to be off to the right somehow.

Josh, I currently have a Helix 10 on a Johnny Ray 208 mounted directly to the top of the driver"s console. I had to slightly trim one of the 3 lugs of the base, on the JR, so it would fit to the top of the console properly, but it has otherwise worked just fine. Clears the windshield and you've got it right in front of you....where I think you would want it. Doesn't obstruct forward view.
This setup is temporary as I will be adding a second Helix 10 to the helm, which I intend to fabricate a custom aluminum, dual mount for.

I think hookahawg got the idea from my install. The Johnny Ray was on my boat when I bought it with a 5" Garmin. I kept it for my 898 and now have tried it with the Helix 10. Almost a year later and still working fine. Here are a few models on Amazon.

Thanks guys for the suggestions and pic. Apparently the onix is bigger than the helix. It seems the gimbal bracket is to wide to fit in between the bumps on the tach and speedo. If that makes any sense.

Oh sorry. My install post is on here somewhere. I mounted a 1x3 or something onto the Johnny Ray and the Gimbal.
