    Was there more than one?? The only one I have read or saw on BBC, FB etc was the crack that was more likely than not, caused by the owner? I just saw pics of a guy who totaled his 2080 by hitting a submerged root ball @ 55mph, surprisingly enough, there was not a cracked weld anywhere to be found. Just the pad area and lower unit was destroyed.

    Tightlines - that was only one that I am aware of also. However it doesn't mean that it can't happen.

    I also saw that 2080 on FB, CRAZY!! He was able to nurse back to the dock.

    AlumaCraft would be the 2XB Hull. Good DeepVee but not the same a a Lund. Sold both brands, dropped AlumaCraft doubled up on Lunds. The big Lunds will rival any aluminum for durability and performance. And yes they will float shallow.
