As you can see the foot pedal base is smaller than minnkota but the pedal itself has a little extra room for GPS features and programmable buttons.

Will we have to drill new holes if we already are running a BCB mounted Ultrex?

That is a very good possibility. We have not on the one we have mounted and we believe the Lowrance is both patterns, though the Garmin is MinnKota only we believe.

the 112 Ultrex comes in around 90 lbs......reading BCBs post above it is a wonder these modern boats with Ultrexs, (4) 12" graphs, 5 batteries, shallow water anchors, etc can even get moving up into the 70 MPH range or get out of the hole.
Those are shipping weights, but cardboard doesn't weigh that much! You made a very good point that BCB has stated many times.
The weight that has been added to these boats due to technology advances, and optioned accessories is huge.
I have seen many posts about bow lift issues, and speed loss. Not just on the BCB site, but all of them.
As you said, I don't see how some of these loaded boats get on plane and get any speed. Add a ton of tackle and rods, the modern rigs have gotten very heavy.

Regardless of weight, the Ghost has caught my interest for sure!

We just wish that there would be product development and ongoing improvement, that would reduce weights again. Unfortunately the new products just gain more weight.

They are the same bolt pattern as Minnkota.. No re-drilling will be necessary to swap to the Ghost. :)
