    Question Parties

How many do you have a year and what is the normal guest count?

My wife loves to have them so we have about nine a year with an average of about 20 to 30 at each one. Have one this weekend with 27 RSVP's. Just got done with the yard and porches so it's time for a beer.

I'm averaging somewhere between 0 and 1 per year over the last 10 years.

I think I had one back when I was 21. Of course that was 22 years ago. Honestly I don’t want 30 people over at my house making a mess. We’ll come to yours. Lol

Rather go to a party than have one. I can bring a bunch of beer, but no thanks to hosting many!

Does my next door neighbor and a few of our friends getting drunk in the shop count?

3-5 if we add Thanksgiving and Christmas to the list. For those 2 holidays we get up to 60 people. Rest of the parties usually up to 20.

    PM will do Musky.

We are having prime ribeye for this one. How do you want it cooked and do you want a large or medium baked potatoe?

    No kegs juice.

Wife makes up 50 mason jars of frozen rita's and I have set ups and drinks for everyone else.

we have cul de sac get togethers very often. Probably 4 or 5 a month. Last meet up we had boil crabs, fried frog legs, fried sacalait chips and fried sacalait on the half shell.

Bill, a 35 year old New York stockbroker had made it so big on Wall Street that he was able to retire at a young age.

Using his wealth, he buys a small cottage in the Vermont mountains.

After 6 months of hardly any human contact, except for venturing into town for supplies, he hears a knock on his door.

He opens the door to find this big, burly, bearded man standing in front of him.

"May I help you," Bill asks.

"The name's Jim, I live 'bout two miles down the road in my cabin," the man says.

"I'm having a party this coming Saturday and I thought I'd invite you seein' that you're new here and all."

Bill accepts the invitation saying, "Great, I haven't been out in six months."

Jim says "I gotta warn ya, there's gonna be a lotta drinkin' at this party."

"Well, I've been to all the bars in New York and have held my ground with the best of them," Bill replies.

"A lot of fightin' goes on at these parties too," Jim says.

Bill replies "well, it'll be nice to get out and I think I can hold my own."

Jim offers, "there's also gonna be some wild love making."

"Well I have been alone for the last six months," Bill says with a laugh.

So the two exchange numbers and directions and just as Jim is walking away Bill says "What should I wear?"

Jim turns and replies, "Whatever you want, just gonna be us two."
