Shout out to the southern Kentucky guy who’s currently in the Top 10 at the Cayuga Elite Series event according to BassTrakk. I fished with him once in a BFL at Cumberland and had a blast. I didn’t cash a check, but I should have. We were around fish all day long and I lost several good ones. I’m pretty sure he cashed a check and he definitely taught me some cool stuff. Hopefully he can hold on and make the Sunday cut!
We need to hear more good experiences like this about folks like these.

He’s a great guy. We’re fairly close in age and while we fished together, we realized he went to college with and was friends with a guy I played high school football with. I used to sell boats for Southeast Marine (#2 Tracker dealer 6 years in a row), which was owned by the Huff family. I bought Rex's Fuji Ranger that he won in the last Redman tourney in FL.
