New SHO and jackplate--which motor support and how high

Just put a new 250 SHO on my 2007 Ranger z21. Wow, did not know what I was missing. I also put a hydraulic jack plate on. I have never had one. I am using TH Marine Motor Sticks to support. My question is how high should jackplate be when trailering? Even at 3 on the "measuring tape", it seems very low to the ground when using the sticks. On my old HPDI, I used the Lock and Haul. For whatever reason, it does not seem to fit as well on this motor. Any advice on how high to have jackplate and what motor toter?

I use the Motormate. Just put mine high enough to not hit anything.
