    2018 PHX Prop Recommendations

I have a 2018 PHX 20 Phoenix with a 250 Mercury XS 2 stroke, Hydro jack plate, 2 power poles, ultrex on the front. I currently have a Fury 3 blade 25 2 plugs installed. With this prop the top RPM is 5600 and some change and a top speed of 73.5 just me 72 loaded. Motor height is 3.25 inches. The boat has no hole shot and when the live well's are full it is even worse. The boat doesn't handle both in a straight line and for sure in tight maneuvering at top end. I am looking for a prop to help set the boat on the back of the pad and that will not lose grip when turning. I have heard right or wrong that the Fury Prop can lose some cup after 100 hours which mine has 200 on it. So curious if anyone has found a prop and setup that balances the ride and maintains the speed.

Thank you in advance for recommendations.

Take ALL the PVS plugs out of the prop.

A 4 blade would be my suggestion... Maybe a 24P Fury4 with venting adjusted to 3800 rpms as a starting place.
