    Live doesn't auto detect 3in1

My live 12 doesn't auto detect my 3in1. I tried to choose it from the list but it is not an option. Any ideas?
My side scan and down work now so should I even be concerned?

Update software and do a hard reset.

I think it's plugged in to the correct port. If I swap ports with the in hull transducer then it doesn't read anything.

Its software version 19.1 but not the newest one.
I'll install newest version and hard reset. Hopefully that will work.

Is it plugged into the port on the end and do you have internal sonar channel 2 on in the menu?

Plugged into the black port on the end and yes I have CH2 internal turned on and multi source selected for network sonar mode.

I just did the software update and a hard reset. It still doesn't auto detect the 3in1.

It has been this since I installed the units a couple months ago.

The DS and SS work but would they work better if I could pick the correct transducer?

    Pull the SONAR plug out.
Do AUTO CONFIGURE. See if the 3 in 1 comes live in SETTINGS, SONAR INSTALLATION.
Now plug in SONAR transducer and turn ON channel ONE.

Could be a bad xid circuit. Get in touch with lowrance and see what they say.

You could try telling the unit it's a totalscan m/h and see if the sonar starts working.
