Ultrex size?

Can I put a 52” ultrex on my 2003 TR20 or is that too long? Currently have a 45” maxim but have a good deal on a used ultrex.

I have 52 inch on my TR 186 and I am very glad I do. Many people say 45 inch is all you need but I’ve been in situations more than once already where I am glad I have the 52 inch. Mine is situated where I can still open my Rod locker, if I ever do it again I would go to 52 inch again. I’m sure a 45 inch would be fine, but a 52 inch has no downside for me.

I agree with this. I put a 52 on my tr21 and am very happy with it. I have to raise it up a bit sometimes in shallows and the head is a little of a pain, but when the wind and wakes get up in ks and ok it rarely comes out of the water. Love it
