    T. LaVictorie Sr. caught an 8+ in a Redman/BFL (if I recall correctly) years ago on Champlain or the St. Lawrence.

So, do you guys think Gus holds onto the lead or will someone top him? Gonna be hard to gain 7 lbs for the win.

    Bad, he bombed yesterday.

Zaldain in the #2 spot, back 5lbs and Feider #3, 7 lbs back.

I mean they’d need him to get like 10-13 and they’ed need 20. It could happen for sure, but I think he can get 13-15 to close it out pretty easily, as they said lots of jig bites which you don’t lose as often and they always eat a jig to some degree.

    This is Gussy's!

I'd be thrilled for him. Having spoken to him, guided on his home waters and run across him many times......I am really hoping he closes this one out. Great guy. Great ambassador for the sport!

Chris is only 4lbs behind him. If he can put 20-21lbs in the boat it will really put the pressure on Gus

Hartman looking for another comeback. I think Gustafson can probably hold out which would kill one of the Johnston brothers because you know all 3 want to be the first Canadian to win. Hartman seems really tough in these final day comebacks though

Is Hartman using true turn hooks on his dropshot?

Hoping Zaldain or Feider gets the trophy today. Both are still close enough to get it.

    Mind your business lol

Not sure if they are true turn or not to be honest. I know some dudes that use a wide gap on a drop shot though

What a freaking tournament 3 guys within ounces. Zaldain coming out of nowhere with these smallies. Gussy is tight as a drum and Hartman just needs 1 more big one

This is such a good last half hour. We use tru turn for icefishing on tipups and it really helps, but I never thought of using them on drop shot if that is what he’s doing.
