    Question What are the signs of a bad transducer?

    guys I am having issues with my front unit and I am thinking its the transducer. how do you guys determine if that's the issue. my problem is that the unit sometimes double reads the bottom. it will display 2 bottoms and if shallow and say I am in 5 feet it will say 12-14. this is my thought on it just wondering if there is a way I can determine that. thanks

    That is either an incorrect setting or a software glitch.
    A weak or failed transducer typically gives you 1.9'
