Question Run 2-9’s or 1-12 at Console?

Debating on what to do with my tin/crappie rig. I have two 9’s currently. One up front and one at console. I’m adding a Helix/360 with the 9 up front. What’s everyone’s thoughts on the consol? One 12 or two 9’s? The is already sticks up pretty good due to where the gauges are so I’m worried the 12 may be too high.

In my book I would go with dual 9s.

Went with 2 - 9's, more real estate, control, ports, no regrets. More $ up front, potentially cheaper down the road when upgrading only 1 will get the latest tech on board.

That's what I was thinking. My existing 9's are Gen 2 so I was gonna get at least a Gen 3.

I like integration. If it was me and somehow I decided I needed a 360 and a helix I would replace my units with the same throughout. Just my opinion.

Kind of depends on how you set them up but I like the greater width of a 12 for side scan. Then again, you could split side scan between the two 9's for a really big image but you wont have much screen space for anything else.

I like Lowrance. I tried a Helix next to my Lowrance and just couldn't ever get comfortable with it so that's why im gonna use it just for 360. Decided to go with two 9's at the console. Think I'm gonna run one with side scan and one with map.
