    2 Lakemaster Chips in G3N?

I've got a new Helix 8 G3N. I've only had Lowrance till now. I'm in MN and will be fishing Lake of the Woods just into Canada. It's got it's own Lakemaster chip. I see the unit has 2 slots, so I put both my MN and Rainy/LOTW chips in. Seems that it will only read one at a time. I have to pop one out to get the one I want. Each slot does work, but not at the same time. Does that seem right? Why even have 2 slots? Or what am I doing wrong?

You can only view one map chip at a time ..... you should be able to have two map chips in the unit and switch between them. Typically the other card slot would be use for recording sonar data or Autochart Live ... or snapshots.
