10.8 largemouth and a 7.14 smallmouth. One was mine the other my partner. Smallmouth needed 1 ounce to tie state records. 2 ounces would have put him in the record book. The smallie and largemouth were both after the spawn.

I caught a 7.14 twice about 3 months apart. Same boat, same bait, same spot. And pretty sure same fish.

17.25. CA Delta. She was actually over 18 on my Boga scale but she had a 1lb catfish in her throat. Caught by Joe Shelby on a flyrod. We were actually fly-fishing for stripers at the time. Easily surpassed the flyrod world record for LMB at the time but we did not certify her. She was released alive. This was back in the early 2000s.

14.1 Lake Fork, Feb. 11, 1995 by my buddy.
Day before we had an 11.4 and a 12.6.
Three of us all had a fish. Same spot. Same bait. Larew's Magnum Hawg Craw.
We pulled up on the spot in Birch Creek to get out of the wind.

8.15 in a local lake. Spinnerbait. I shook the scale several times to try and make it weigh 9lbs but it wouldn't do it. March 2011.

11lbs. 4oz. caught by my team partner on Clear Lake Ca. Even with that toad we only finished 3rd., the rest of our bag was not so impressive. He did take big fish, there were some very impressive bags weighed that day, we had a little over 23lbs. and it took 27lbs.+ to win.
