Strike King DB Flippin' Tube in Green Pumpkin w/ Red & Green Flake (I call it the Christmas Tree color) texas rigged and pegged with a 1/4 oz. weight and a rattle inside. I use it with a Shaw Grigsby HP hook on either 20 lb Sunline Floro or 65 lb Sufix 832 braid, depending on the thickness / toughness of the weeds.

Flipping some compact beaver-profile (not necessarily beaver "style" - I like more action when they're in the grass) under a pegged weight and punch skirt for me. Current go-to is a 3/4 oz tungsten over an ACT Lures punch skirt and a Zoom Z-Craw. Honorable mention to an All Terrain Grassmaster, give me 1 oz (not a soft plastic, though), or a "jigworm" - say 1/8 oz with a 5 inch stickbait.

I'm trying a new BPS River bug. The tails can be left attached or you can cut them.

Used to use a Ditto Gator tail, black with Chart. tail but I ran out of those.

Zoom Fluke for the shallow thin stuff, T-rigged U-Tail for the bottom fuzz and cabbage. Pretty rare to see a mat up here.
