    First impression of the 721

Well the weather and fishing sucked on Rayburn this past Saturday... but I got the HDS units set up like I wanted and got to test the Phoenix in rough water.. and I was impressed. Got it up to 75 in water that I wouldn’t even think about trying in the Skeeter..Loving the boat for sure!

It only gets better man. Once you really learn it that boat will totally suprise you just how good it can be in some extremely nasty stuff. We never turned around in mine, even when others had too and not because we were being stupid, it was because the boat felt totally safe and under control.

I agree, the water wasn't too nasty, but I would never have taken the Skeeter that fast (it wouldn't hit 75) but the 721 felt very stable. I still need some seat time to learn what it likes and what it doesn't but it felt good. Having the trim gauge recalibrated so I can play with it and the JP to stay consistent.
