    2019 Skeeter zx225

Just curious what others paid for these as they come? I'm looking at a "demo" model with the 12 and 10" helix and what I assume to be standard equipment.
I haven't seen any other dealers to compare to. After talking to them I made a "suggestive" offer of 50K. IF they can do that would it be a decent deal. The other boat im looking at is a 2019 Nitro Z20 with a merc 250 proxs at another dealer for 43k.
I know this is a skeeter forum but im torn and this is my FIRST new boat purchase

I'm selling my 2019 zx225 demo for 51,495 with a few extras. Cover and 360 being 2 of them. The buyer will be first owner with all full warranties on everything except batteries. Plus if you buy at the right time you could get the extended yamaha warranty for free.

if the nitro has a two stroke motor it is not a fair comparison because the sho will make the value on the skeeter go up upon time to sell the two stroke motors are taking a real hit on resale now.

Not knocking Nitro but if you are not planning on keeping, the resale on Tracker/Nitro boats are horrible. Believe me i found out the hard way

The nitro has the 250 4 stroke . He sent me another offer on the nitro this morning . A shade under 41k.
The skeeter was a demo as well with 2 -12"helix. They were at 53k. Regardless of the electronics that came on the skeeter I just didnt want to get into it over 50k. I also believe I need more time to research all electronics as I've been out of the game for several years and I'm not sure what I would even want.

If the skeeter has the 12 inch helix units and an ultrex it’s worth the extra money. I have had some minor issues with my 225 but all in all it’s a awesome boat

Well adding up the 2 birds and ultrex I'm thinking I can get then for a little over 6k so the nitro would still be 3k cheaper than the skeeter. Although the skeeter has one pole. But it's also a demo model that had a snapped prop shaft when I looked at it. I know it can be fixed and has full warranty but it kinda planted a seed in my head that they might've been rough on the boat during those demo hours

You did good on researching. And your right, at 41k you can still be in the nitro cheaper than the skeeter with comparable equipment. If you really shop you could save more than 3k more than likely. Maybe some used helix units and used power poles or talons and you could be more loaded for around the same money. And I would think the same as you, what's a demo for? To run the crap out of it and appears that's what happened

They were gonna charge me 1k for a cover. They tried to make 53k sound like it was the "team" price. But apparently around 50 -53 is a pretty common range. Thanks guys!!

I'm looking at a zx225 this weekend, but all the pricing I'm seeing is in the mid-55k range. Would like to get down to the 50-53 range, but we will see. Dealer's can't go below NAP can they?

You guys got me all itchy. I am looking to buy a new Skeeter (225 or 200) around the end of October so I am hoping they will still have some 2019 so I can get a good closeout price on a new one. Otherwise I will be shopping lightly used models.
