    2004 Mercury 200 EFI problem

My friend has a 2004-200 EFI running a 25 pitch tempest, @ 2 3/4'' high for prop to hull ratio. 15 psi. When I hit 5800rpm the alarm goes off constant, until I back off. 5600rpm okay. I still had trim and fuel pedal left. He recently took his prop in to a prop shop I know nothing about, to have it fixed due to bending a ear, I would have sent it to Mark Croxton if it was mine. He cannot drive it when it starts Chining, so I do not know what rpm he was getting before. I had driven the boat 3 years ago, when I originally set it up some for him. and had no alarms. The real Question I have because I cannot find it is what is the REV LIMITer set for this motor? Someone else on the board said it was 5750rpm, I thought they were around 6,000 to 6,200 on a 2004-200EFI. I am not sure the prop was even pitched, cupped, and raked right.
Need help for the 2004 Triton 19, with the 2004-200 EFI on it.
    Thanks
