Hey guys,
I did my fair share of research and getting a little too many mixed opinions on the matter which ended up getting more confused on what I should do...
1- im installing a deck extension using 3/4 untreated plywood and want to know what I should do to it / use to seal it.
Would i be fine in just using west systems 105 resin and 205 or 207 hardener? or should i add a few layers of glass as well.
also how much would i need to be able to cover the deck
The deck extension is about 3x5ft .. I will be carpeting it afterwards.
or could i even get away with using just a fiberglass resin with glass and carpeting i know the bondo fiberglass resin i can get for a really good price. claims its 100% water proof and can be used with or without the glass matts.
2- I also got a soft spot on the bow i wouldn't mind fixing up as well... my boat doesnt have the wood core flooring so its "fractured" and not "rotted'... not sure how i would go about this one.
Thanks!
