    Glue for trailer step pads?

I need to glue the rubber pads back down on my trailer steps. Any recommendations besides contact cement? Or is contact cement the best option?

I bought this stuff upon recommendation from a thread here and it worked very well as a cheaper alternative to the similar glue Ranger uses.

How much coverage will one bottle get you? One pad or more?

This ^^^ stuff worked very well for me.

I only had half of one step up pad on my trailer flapping so didn't really use a whole lot at all, but good observation. I would think one bottle could do a couple pads but probably not much more. It's not a real big bottle.

Have the same issue going on with my step pad. Mine is about half unglued at the moment. Did you guys remove the old adhesive first before applying the new stuff? If so, what did you use or do to remove that?

FWIW I just use Gorilla Super Glue. Works great.

I probably should have removed it but too many other items on the priority list I just glued the flapping half down and seems good for now.
