I have a 12 Evinrude 250 Etec with oil leaking out of exhaust vent when boat is stored in my garage. I had the oil tank replaced recently because it was bad and leaking oil into the bilge. I had the boat out 1 time since the repair and now oil is leaking out of this exhaust vent. Probably three different times I cleaned up a puddle of oil on my garage floor. It's been sitting in my garage for 3 weeks or so. Is this normal? I'm just a little concerned, thanks for any input.

Have you taken the cowl off to inspect for leaks in the oil pump area?
Yes I took cowl off and everything looks fine and clean. Don't see any issues.
Why would oil leak out the exhaust vent?
