As a fellow Pennsylvanian I am disappointed in your jealousy of such a fine boat. Probably an Eagles fan in Steelers Country too.
Having owned both Ranger and Vexus........They both make a badass boat. Vexus just looks, drives, rides and performs better Ranger owners are just as prideful, if not more, than the new Vexus crowd. Both brand owners need to be exiled.

I’m sad to see you go, but Congrats on the upgrade! You picked my next boat when I upgrade. I went to see a fellow BBC’er weigh in and that Triton was there. I fell in love with it instantly! It’s laid out perfect and will take the 200, best of all worlds to me.
I think you will love the new boat, please post up some pics when you get it! The Triton forum is a great place too, they’re really helpful and I can ask some dumb questions!
Im gonna miss you putting people in their place here!

I’d have to drive it to believe it. I’ve had a Sabre FTD with both a 150 & 175 ProXS on the tail and couldn’t run 72 ready to fish. I could tickle 70 with the 175 after lots of setup and running different props. There was another member here back then with a standard Sabre, single console, 150 ETEC that spent lots and lots of time tweaking like I did. He managed 70 in a river..like once. We met at a Cat Owners Tournament and had a blast comparing notes. I offered to line em up but he wouldn’t do it. I could run 68 with a full tournament load. That’s with the 175 ProXS.
The Margay is shorter, but wider. I don’t see it running faster than a standard Sabre.
Running 70 GPS with a 150 would take a great hull and driver. I think it WAY was easier to run my Cougar over 70 than my Sabre 68. The Sabre, like the old Triton TR’s take input at their limit.
It is technically possible but its a stretch at 1% prop slip and thats turning 50 rpm higher than the motor is rated for. Thats for the 25p trophy. Although when my tracker was setup at its peak i was at 2.2% prop slip so im not gonna fully come out and say its not true. 1% prop slip just isnt something you see.
