    P3

Hello all. Thinking of buying a 2000 P3. Love the boat but the bottom of the boat has me thinking. There’s a few small nicks out of the gelcoat but that’s about it. Doesn’t look concerning to me but this is also my first boat. So my question is what can you expect the bottom of a nearly 20 year old boat to look like? Are a few hair line cracks and a couple small nicks on the keel normal?

Yes, though what year is the rig?

All of the Pantera III models would at least be pure Vinyl Ester resins. 1998 - 2003

Year is 2000. As far as the vinyl ester resin, that is a good thing I hope?

Absolutely. VE reduces the chances of blistering, and, reduces flex which in turn means less likelihood of stress fractures. Very solid boat. My friend had one around the same year.
