08 929 Livewell Valve Question

Having trouble figuring out how to get to the valve that controls the water fill and drain. I beleive the cable is broke or the control valve is broke. Do u have to pull the gas tank or just the access panel in back of boat to get to it. I don’t see any other way as the cable runs down the front side of livewell and no panel

The valve should be accessible from the bilge area. From there you can verify if the cable works. Often times the cable falls off the back of the switch on older boats.
