What's going on with my Carbon?

I had a split screen showing depth and chart on my bow Carbon unit yesterday. The chart was periodically flashing blank then back to normal. The chart on the console was fine. Then the unit spontaneously restarted. Then after an hour of this it cleared up. And worked fine the rest of the day. Except it wasn't reading the Navionics chart card from the console unit.
    WTF?

I did disconnect everything behind the unit and reconnect to make sure the connections there were good. Didn't make a difference. But like I said, it cleared up on it's own after a while.Could it be moisture in the unit that eventually dried up when it hit 85 degrees and sunny?

Some dielectric grease and a dab or two on ALL connections might be in order.

Have your battery tested? My graphs will restart when the battery gets too low on charge.

My units have acted this way before. It happened when the battery was low. Running the big motor to charge the battery could be why it got better.
