Neither is going to be the best for all those you listed. 742 for the ned, neko (743 fine with neko also)
743 better for the tube, and wacky
I'd say the 742 for the drop 100% BUT you throw out up to 1/2oz that makes me lean more to the 743.

I would go 742. I use a dx 702s for wacky senko and an Awesome dropshot rod. I think the 743 would be almost a jig/fluke/ spinnerbait rod little to heavy for my liking

I have a 742. Bought specifically for drop shot. Great rod. Just so happens this has been a weird drop shot year with almost constant current, therefore no thermocline and I've done very little drop-shotting. Rod also good for wacky rigging and Neds. I'd say 6# line/leader would be at top end of line choices.
