good info .. Gonna get her loaded up and find out . It is a smaller boat than what I had so I got to try and adjust .. Hoping I don't miss the speed to much . Time will tell..
I will say this ,, it is a well built boat . seen a few things that reminds me of the Allison I just sold. And I like the fact of no fancy plastic trim to dry rot over time and can't be had for love or money after a boat is a few years old .
Congrats, and what a great find. As mentioned, that thing has amazing holeshot. Set up properly, you should see low to mid seventies. BCB build quality is very good. One thing you will have to get used to is the forward position of the troller foot pedal. That doesn't take long, and once you do, you will probably really like it as we all do.

If that's a 200 hanging off the back I doubt you'll miss much in the way of speed with a Classic being a solid 70+ MPH boat. Although my guess is the Allison was an 80+ MPH boat, albeit a higher HP outboard.
The holeshot, acceleration, and handling of the older Pantera Classics is exceptional. I have a friend with one. That thing is scary fast, and gets to speed in no time.
Enjoy. Beautiful rig.
Check the trailer tires.

You got a gem right there, enjoy.
Probably has the original tires on it. If they're Coopers. That's one pretty boat.
Great find...

Nice find. Have same boat with 3L merc efi, yeah it is a hot rod to 60mph.
Nice Boat enjoy.
If your new classic has a 2.5 liter EFI 200 on it then put a 25" trophy or 24" Fury 3 on it and it will be a solid low 70 mph rig loaded. My 2001 classic originally had a 2.5 liter EFI 200 on it and I ran a 25" temptest for a while with speeds ranging from 70-75 depending on load and conditions. I put a 25" trophy that was tweaked by DAH propellers and it was by far the best prop for that rig from hole shot to midrange to top end. Believe me, I tried them all back then. Then I put a 3.0 liter EFI on her and that was an absolute beast. I ran a 27" trophy and a 26" fury on it and both were very, very good props. With that motor it was a solid upper 70's rig under any condition.

Very nice find. I'm hoping to do the same when I decide to pull the trigger on a BC.
Looks like the other owner took good care, congrats and enjoy.
