I'd pull the plugs out and spin the flywheel by hand to verify it the motor is seized or not, you may have to drop the lower to make sure the gearcase hasn't locked up.
Was the kicker motor in reverse gear? If so, the boat going forward can impart enough energy into the propeller to rotate the motor backwards. The exhaust becomes the intake. Sucking water up into the power plant. Bending connecting rods and breaking pistons. Not good.
