Just couple here and there, when I troll and see that log drifted and I need to re mark it to make it safe when the water is choppy and it's hard to see them.
Just to select the proper waypoint is major drag :(

Have you tried to use the joystick. My Onix touch is not great,I use the joystick to select things. On my Solix I never use the joystick. The touch on the Solix is outstanding. I had the Onix checked out for CT issues and was told it worked as the Onix is supposed to. Bob

I have the NT ONIX and I mostly use the buttons with the SOLIX. Much more precise using the joystick to deal with waypoints.

There is no setting. Your finger or the position curser has to touch the point at the bottom of the waypoint icon, then the name pops up. Sooo it's more than near, it's exact.

I have the map curser on the waypoint icon and that is not where the waypoint is. The waypoint's location is where the icon pointer is:

This is where the waypoint is and the name pops up:

I just went down to the marina and brought up my Onix 10 CT.3.30 I can be(may be dependant on scale but 1/8 left ,right, above or below The little point puts the info box up that you show in your snap. I could not find the parameter poking around through the menu's. I did not hook up the Solix as I wanted to get back to the truck before the next storm hit. I will keep looking. Bob

Go to settings/general/cursor, turn cursor snap and cursor pop up on to make the waypoints easier to select. Bob

Might have been waypoint before cursor. Was in a rush!
    Have to try that :)

    EDIT:
both were enabled, but what I discovered that when I disable sonar ping ( making love to the boat in the garage )the unit is waaaay faster

Too bad you still have trouble selecting Waypoints. Can you get the waypoint to pop up only being in proximity or only exactly on the little point under the icon? Unfortunately the sonar is beneficial when using the Onix! Much of the processing time spent on imaging. Bob
