definitely needs grey or charcoal.
also look at marinemat decking solutions that the stuff Ike put in sons little boat
As others have ask, does it come I. Gray or charcoal?
I was at redcrest and the 921elite they had the floor done with new flooring, looked pretty nice. It had groves in it , not flat like pictures on here.
So......do you just buy a new boat with that as an option installed at purchase? Or have it installed? HMMMMMMMMM

Can I have the pattern used for your boat so I can order from sea-dek as they do mot have a 921 pattern
the seadek is available on the 2020 models, I dont know if they will offer color options or just grey with groves, just dont know if it will be available to the public directly from seadek, there are defiantly a lot of color and texture options on there website

I'm genuinely curious. Does anyone know how this stuff holds up? Are the edges easily worn and stay to look frayed? Does it stain easily, hell, does it clean easily? Does it become a skating rink in the cold?
I see all these pics of it in boats, but no "long term" reports on its durability. And for the price, well, I want to know it's going to look good in 5 years of heavy use. Otherwise I can't see spending the excessive money on something that's going to look just as shitty as carpet in 5 years.
And how the hell can I get in on this over priced racket of cut closed cell foam for ridiculous amounts of money? Seriously. You can get spools of this stuff from china for dirt cheap.
I wonder how it would wear under the heals of our shoes. I have no experience with it, so just curious on its wear duration
Risen From The Ashes!!
I've read where it does stain some. Like rust stains from hooks and stuff. Haven't heard about how it wears
Thing is. It's just closed cell foam. It's going to start looking rather ragged out in a couple years. Edges are going to fray, guarantee it stains, get a hook lodged in it and you'll have a tear instead of just yanking the hook out of carpet and never knowing it happened.
It's a solution in search of a problem at 3x the cost.
Don't get me wrong. I don't like carpet either. But seadek isn't the answer. Looks cool when its new, that can't be denied. Just give it 4-5 years when these seadek'd boats start hitting the used market.
I agree if it came in grey I would take the carpet out.
