    New Wheels/tires

I am going to restore my trailer this winter. I would like to get some new wheels, perhaps larger wheels. I have 14" or 15" wheels now with 215 tires. If I go bigger how do I know what the same side outside diameter tire would be? is a 215 a 215?
    Thanks in advance

The first number is width, in cm. To keep keep the same outside diameter, the second number (the width to sidewall height ratio) has to be smaller. Use the calculator to check sizes. Problem might be finding a ST (trailer) or LT (light truck) tire in that size. Extra width is ok if it fits in the fender.

Keep in mind that if you increase tire/wheel size it affects not only fender clearance but also the need to back in much further to launch/load.
