Well it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, had two one day club tournaments finished third both days. Not much weight but that's all relative. Had 5 that weighed 8.61 Saturday and three that weighed 6.22 on Sunday. My son won on Saturday and I finished third, my grandson won on Sunday and had big fish, I finished third and my son finished 5th!!
That's a crazy place to fish, I was catching stripers on hollow body frogs. Mullet every where, crabs every where and Sunday I saw a huge ray swimming in the canal I was fishing!
Friend of mine caught, flounder, drum, trout, perch and a black fish.

How far is Port Terminal from Tranters Creek ramp? Never been up in the Tar River. Always fished from Tranter's Creek to places out in the sound.

We had our tourney yesterday at Pamlico. 10 boats and almost 13 to win.water still backing up . Got 2nd with right at 12 lbs and had lunker with a 4.95. Great considering i relied on stuff learned back in the 80"s. Rock fish are everywhere. Caught 2 over 10 lbs in 1 foot of water. Crazy.
