200 Mercury ProXs 200 with torquemaster serial #2B597099
Just got a new Mercury tempest plus 23 to give a run and the hub kit in the box is the wrong size. I don’t really want to take the one I have in my other prop apart as I like to leave them together.
I am not sure what SSR hub kit I need? I see another post for a 225 but not sure if same part number?
I looked in the FAQ’s and believe I need Part #8M0101603, just not 100% sure?
Your other option is the solid hub kit, 840389K06 (Mercury Racing) or 840389Q06 (Quicksilver).
Ok thanks. Got it figured out and picking one up on way to lake tomorrow.
There is also SSR Hub 8M0101601 that appears to be the same as 8M0101603?
The SSR hubs are good but they have rubber snubbers so once they are used they are very difficult to impossible to remove from the prop.
