Plastic wood grain panels for console

Just tried getting one off and broke 2 of the tabs off of it. How do you know which end is supposed to be pried off first? I wanna remove the big one above the steering wheel to change out my gauges but i don't wanna risk breaking any tabs off, the panel is like brand new. Any ideas

Not sure which model you have but you might need to go behind the panel and take the gauges out first. In some models the U bracket on the gauge holds the panel in. If things get in bad shape contact precision Sonar at 270-703-6133 depending on the model the have gauge relocation packages and much more.

Thanks rkylake, i may contact them to see what they have available. I want to take the plastic piece off so i can get to the shroud beneath it. I can see that the shroud is screwed into the console but i need to remove the plastic to get to the screws. And as i said the plastic is in perfect condition so i don't want to hurt it anymore than i have to
