    Xducer selection

Currently I have a thru hull pdrt-wbl and an LSS 2 running to my carbon 12.

They are both performing poorly and the Lss 2 has been damaged.

I am looking to replace both x ducers. Is there a one stop option or should i revert to a skimmer and some type of structure scan?

I want 2d/ss/ds capable. And hope to maintain equal or better quality.

    Thanks

For 2d, the Airmar TM150 is outstanding with a Carbon.

Would you do a tm150 and another lss2?

Sounds like you are wanting a single to do everything. That would be a 3 in 1 Active Imaging transducer.

Why do you say the pdrt-wbl is performing poorly? I installed a 2-in-1 on my Carbon and took it off as the images were pretty bad. I would not go to a 3-in-1 simply because they don’t play nice with other 2D transducers. If it were me... My first choice would be to keep the shoot through the hull pdrt. If money isn’t an inhibitor I would go 3D module/transducer plus TM150. Next choice would be LSS2 w/TM150. Next choice would be LSS2/HST-WSBL mounted to jack plate/transom. In all cases I would keep the pdrt for running on plane.

Can I plug all of those into the unit? Lss2, tm150, and pod? Or will i have to use lss2 module? And plug pod n tm150 into the unit

The images i get from the pod have turned poor, almost like my screen is zoomed in. Chunky and pixelated

Look, if you aren’t comfortable with this tech and you were satisfied with your current set-up, just get a 3 in 1 and be done with it. You will get very acceptable images on both 2D and Structure. The only issue will be mounting correctly to get on plane depth readings. There are numerous things you CAN do but for most people, simpler is better.

Those are the images in getting from my pod. At times it will barely pick up bottom.
