    Wide Body Champs

Wide body Champs, what was the earliest 18' wide body, was it the 07 183, or was there one before that? I'm looking at the possibility of buying a boat next year and I'm starting my research. I know that I REALLY like the 07-10 183

Thank you for any and all info anyone can provide

The 188 was before the 183. I think in early 2000's.

04 to 06 I'm guessing? I've seen some of those online, seems like the 03-2010 18' ChampioNs are hard to find

    My 2006 catalogue has the 188 Elite with a 92.5" beam, rated for a 200hp. The 187 CX has a 90" beam, rated for a 175hp. And the 186 Fishunter with a 99" beam, rated for a 200hp.

I've seen very few Camps in my neck of the woods. But there is one local guy I see periodically with a 188. Super nice, and maybe one of the best sub 19/20 footer of its time.

I think the first wide body was the TN 188.

The 183 had 2 models....the CX series was 175 rated and the Elite version was 200 rated. Same exact boat, but the Elite had more standard features while the CX was more economical.

Martha Bishops 188 was the sharpest one I’ve seen. It was really quick too.
