    360 Heading Sensor on a Z20???

I have reached the point where I am ready to mount the heading sensor on my 2019 Nitro Z20. I was wondering if anyone out there who has a similar set-up can chime in on where they have "successfully" mounted theirs?

I have used a compass to check for interference and to be honest I have so much metal racking in my garage I am not getting a spot that I am completely free from ferrous metal interference. I just need to pull it out of the garage and quickly check, but also looking for input from others before I drill a 3/4" hole anywhere on the boat .....
Deploying and running the trolling motor does not seem to have an affect on a compass reading on either side of the trolling motor pedal and cables.

I asked this in the Humminbird forum but thought it actually may be better to ask here.
I prefer to mount it up by the bow if it is an acceptable place.

    Thanks in advance...

PM your email and I will send you a picture of where mine is mounted. I have not had any problems.

I've put mine on the front panel on my last 5 boats and never had a problem with any of them.

I would do that but, my bow panel is not flat, it is sloped downward toward the deck some. That isn't the best for the sensor operation, correct?

For the Ultrex right? Either way Its a heading sensor. My ultrex sensor is on the rear of my boat, My Lowrance Point 1 is behind the driver seat on the deck.

The heading sensor that comes with the 360 is a GPS/Heading receiver which is different from the Ultrex heading sensor. It would be similar to a Point 1 receiver.
