Anyone else notice with the G2?

Up here in MN its been hotter and humid more than usual. High 80's 60+ degree dew points. I know to your southerners that is a cool front. I have a cousin Houston, TX and she laughs at me.

I had 200 Opti before the G2 200HO, and when it got hot like above I would loose 500 rpm and 8 mph. The G2 looses 50 rpm, and no speed or holeshot.

According to my G2 Guru buddy its because
    Intake and flat power curve...
The intake provides cooler air rather then running thru through the engine like the other ones do it has a seperate area to take air in over the top of the engine.
