How can i shut off auto trim on my new 2019 Evinrude 150HO?
If you have any type of icon gauge you can select it off, if not your dealer will have to do it thru the evdiag software.
xpress x19, 200ho G2, aluminum sawtooth cut prop, paper sack tackle storage, ugly stik pro team, color c-lector
Should have been done at the dealer prior to picking up(at least that is what the dealer I bought from does) if you don't have the Nautilus or icon touch screen as mentioned above.

2019 Vexus 1980, Evinrude G2 150 H.O. - moved onto a new owner
Do you have a Lowrance at the console? I’m not sure about other models, but the HDS units connect to the engine automatically through the NMEA network already rigged in the boat. You just click on “Evinrude” when the icon appears on the home screen and there will be a setting to turn auto trim on or off.
The Elite TI2's also connect to NMEA and you can control auto trim and foot /hand throttle selection.
I read in a manual somewhere that by pressing your trim switch up or down will deactivate the auto trim, and to return to auto trim, simply go to idle speed and trim all the way down.

Won’t be long now then, and in time for the fall fishing frenzy. We deserve a good fall since the spring was not ideal with the high cold muddy water and too much current in the TN river.
What I found on that Evinrude G2 150hp is to not idle around with it trimmed all the way down as it tends to bog down and even die when it’s really hot outside. The motor is so strong you can plane easily without being fully trimmed down. Your experience my vary of course.
