    Question Breaker Question

2003 Champion 206, on the starboard side by the cranking battery there is a black plastic box with a 20A push button breaker sticking out of it, came from the factory installed. The wires going into the box, which seems sealed, are fairly small, maybe 10 gauge or so. What is this breaker for?

I know that it is not for the automatic bilge because that has a waterproof fuse holder nearby.

The breaker is rusted stuck and I would like to replace it but 20A breakers aren't very common, I can get a 25A fairly easy though

Pretty sure that is the breaker for the console power. Is it something like this one?

I'm pretty sure that is exactly what it is but I'm not sure that the plastic box will open to replace it without me cutting it open

I saw that and was leaning that way. I just bought pretty much the same breaker 60A Bussman for my trolling motor. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try one of the cheaper breakers from Amazon or stick with Bussman or Blue Sea for more money

Well I tried to pry the breaker apart to get the wires out. No go. Cut the wires and installed a 25A bussman breaker. Put the original breaker in a vive and took a hacksaw to it. That breaker box was a solid piece of rubber
