Evinrude intruder water pressure gauge

I just bought a 1993 stratos 280sf with an Evinrude intruder 150. The water pressure gauge needle is stuck maxed out at 30. I took the tube off of the gauge and ran the motor on the hose and there was no water coming out. I’m lost and don’t know what to try next so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Take the motor side hose off and blow air thru it, may want to put a paper towel on the boat side in case there is some junk in the hose.

Is the motor side hose the one that is connected to the left side of the block?

I'm assuming that when you took the hose off the gauge, the needle dropped?

If it didn't it's new gauge time....
