    New Gambler website

I checked out the Gambler site the new owners have just to see if they had added any content. I clicked on the "Gambler 20+22" icon and this was the first of 3 pics that came up in the slide show. First glance I thought....that boat looks familiar. Second later...hey that's my old boat! Second later, that's ME driving it!! I remembered picking that 2007 2200 up the summer of 2006 at the plant. Bob had said he was going out to do a photo shoot and would like to have that boat in it if I had a couple hours. We went to a nearby lake and made some passes. I remember like it was yesterday seeing him hang halfway off the bow of the camera boat holding on with his feet. It was a fun experience for sure. They told me they'd send me the pic from the shoot but I never did get them. I'm glad after 12 years I finally got to see one. Time flies. I'm happy the new owners seem excited to revive the brand. They're to good of boats for them to fade off into the sunset.

Boats will be built in SC as mentioned above. I believe they will be initially marketed by Dry Dock Landing at Pleasants Point Marina (Lake Anna, Va).

I would keep the gambler name and just make different models, that sterling just does not sound like a a gambler.Maybe like a Gambler platinum edition or something.Just thinking.

Gambler name will be available on 20 and 21 footers. Sterling will still be on the 21’.

Yeah but..... As manufactured, in the past, the Gambler is the economy version of the Sterling. Among other things not included are the console storage compartment. That's what I remember but there are other "Not Included's" when stepping "down" from the Sterling to the Gambler. Now ya' gotta understand that the word "Economy" is a relative word. Seemed like there was 20k, or so, difference in price.

Well a friend of mine called Friday and founded out a new STERLING out the door with a mercury 250 pro x four stroke . 9 inch Lowrance in dash , 9 inch up front, aluminum painted trailer. minn kota fortex trolling motor .. ( was told a ultrex would not fit in the foot tray.. I know there are a few sterling out there with the ultrex all ready installed on the sterling.) he also was told the new name for the sterling was going to be the GAMBLER ELITE SO THAT MODEL WOULD BE 101,000.00 DOLLARS. PLUS YOU HAVE TO GIVE HIM 25,000.00 UP FRONT TO HAVE HIM BUILD IT. the 21 foot gambler was a little cheaper 88k and the 20 ft gamber was 85k.
so there you have it. call your self and price one out

I can assure you a ULTREX will fit because I put one on! The best thing that can be installed on a Sterling! Have pics if needed!
