    Opinions on Motor Toters

I am looking at purchasing a a boat with a 2018 150 SHO on it. It will be my first Yamaha after owning 7 Mercury's, so I am somewhat of a newbie.

Can anyone recommend the best motor toter to use that also locks side to side movement? I can't use steering clips because the boat has Bay Star steering, rather than Sea Star.

Any and all input will be appreciated!

I don't think there is a Motor support I haven't tried. 'MotorMate' is by far the best I have used. No Vertical or Horizontal movement at all.

The MotorMate is definitely solid and doesn't all the motor to move or bounce at all.

I haven’t used one but heard all great things about motormate. I have a lock-n-haul that spent 5 years on a carbed vmax 150 and is now holding my 175 sho. It’s worked well and I don’t plan on getting anything else unless I lose it or it breaks.

Motormate is fine on anything except a BassCat, they would prefer you don't use one and use the traditional that rests on the trailer.

I've been using a Lock-n-Haul for about many years on my 250 HPDI with no problems. I don't use clips because it holds my motor straight and don't need them. Lightweight, strong, adjustable for many motors and priced lower than all the others. Something to consider... www.lock-n-haul.com
