Can anyone tell me what the differences are between these map cards ?

Plus has satellite overlay on maps
Smartstrike allows you to put in conditions for certain species of fish and it will highlight likely areas that will hold fish, but it doesn't have satellite overlay. The plus will not do smartstrike. The "v" is just the version of each card.
Also the V (version number) is the number of years that model card has been produced. They can be and most of the time are different for the same year.
There are three card models:
Lakemaster
Lakemaster Plus
Lakemaster SmartStrike

Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA+ SI G3N/G4N, Helix 15 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N
SOLIX 12 SI/G3, Helix 8 CHIRP MEGA SI+ G4N, Ultrex 80/LINK, MEGA360,
MEGA LIVE, LIVE TL
Different for the same year ?
Yes, Lakemaster is the first product for all the older regions, the other two came later.
If you look at the Minnesota coverage for each card model the current models are:
Lakemaster V8
Lakemaster Plus V3
Lakemaster SmartStrike V4
It's that number of years in production thing.

Thanks
For the south there is v5, v3+ for the current versions. There is no v5+

Yeah, Humminbird screwed up there....
Why not...
Lakemaster Southeast 2020
Lakemaster Southeast + 2021
Lakemaster Southeast 2021....
Ya know, the year they were made instead of the current version they are on ;) too much common sense i suppose! One more thing you have to research on the side to make sure you are getting the most current version ;)
Tell me where has a slow movin' once quick draw outlaw got to go
A new chart doesn't necessarily come out for every region every year. So if you went by years then you'd have an issue with people thinking a 2018 card is out of date even though it was the last year an update was made. Doesn't seem like there is a perfect solution.
