I bought them for my last boat and they kept coming off. If they stayed put they would be great.

I went with the vinyl 6.5"x23"(???). I hung them vertically on front and rear cleat and I felt I wasnt getting enough cushion when I was pull up to the docks. So I tried some 8.5"x26" and they are comically huge on the 1880 lol.

So I got some bungy line and tied onto both eyes of the 6.5" bumper. I now have my bumpers horizontal and up high. Just slightly below the gunnel and I feel it provides plenty of cushion now when I pull up to the dock.

I still want to install an additional cleat right next to the console.

For the cheap peeps like me I made some dock sticks for around 8 bucks. They are very easy to make. I also hang a throw cushion off the throttle lever.

    These work too https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are made by Rite Hite.
These and Dock Stix work under the right circumstances...not a end all though.

    Crankwv,
I'm interested in how you made your homemade Dock Stix. You have any pics of them?
