Navionics Sharing on HDS 7 Gen 2 Touch

I have the units mentioned above. Networked via Ethernet cable. The console unit has the chip. The bow unit doesn’t read the chip at power up. If I select Lowrance from the chart options eventually (10-20 minutes) I get a notification that it detects the Navionics chip and asks if I want to switch. I say yes and it’s typically good to go from there.

Any thoughts on how to get this working right at start up?

Never seen it take that long. Have you tried plugging the card in the bow unit and seeing if it takes as long to read on the console?
