    RT189P full issues

I got a 2018 rt198p and every so often the motor will stall
mostly at idle but some times when getting on plane
when that happens I need to get to the prime ball and press it a few times
every time I do that I can hear the fuel coming up the line.
does this sound like a fuel line problem or motor problem.
have had the motor at the Mercury dealer and he told me its a boat problem to call ranger and take it to ranger dealer
    thanks
    Joe

You are getting air from somewhere . Most likely from tank to the motor

Suggest replacing the fuel demand valve. It is a low cost part and it could be starving the engine.

your more than likely getting air between the prime ball and fuel tank. that is letting the fuel drain back into the tank.
