Cold front moved through and made the bite a little tougher but they still chomp when you find them.

Just got back. Caught some fun ones on top water . Hard to find the good grass. South wind blew the north end out and add in a little algae bloom and some spots had inches of vis. Water was 71. Need more time to find better grass. We’ll be fun to watch the pros up there

I was there a few weeks ago for the first time at the North end. We couldn't find much good milfoil, but seems to be a problem on alot of lakes this year. This spring screwed things up.

got nothing to do with the spring, milfoil has been vanishing off alot of ny lakes lately in the past few weeks.

I've been out almost every week since April. From Silver Lake to Cayuga. There's usually a very defined milfoil edge by late July sometimes out to 20 feet. It's non existent this year. You're saying the cold temps into early June have zero to do with the weed growth?

No what im saying is lakes that have had a very defined edge this year no longer have that milfoil as it has mysteriously vanished. If they weren't there since april then its obvious that may have been a weather related issue.
